The Island
I don't know where to put this and I don't know which one of you is Pika, but what's going on with the Island?? I don't like this board.

I've sent an email out to everyone. The server on the Island is broken. It's been restored using a backup from April. The last I checked, the board was still down. Forumer is aware of the problem and will be fixing it but it could take a while. The server has to be replaced.

**UPDATE** A sticky was posted yesterday afternoon (about 4:30) that a problem was detected on server 8. It was planned to take it out and replace it but apparently the server crapped out before it could be replaced. The good news is since maintenance was planned on it, there should be a backup made within the last few days. There's still no word from the main administrator at Forumer (Limez) but the others think the data lost will be restored with a more recent backup.

Rufie, are you serious? You din't know that Pika=Mortricia? Somebody has replaced Rufie's St Johns Wort with Flintstone vitamins, perhaps???

I don't know which one of you is Pika Sorry, Rufus! I guess I missed that since I saw you were asking about the Island and I had been just about to post about it myself. Didn't mean to keep you guessing. Thanks for filling Rufus in, Tif. I am Pika. :mrgreen: Tricia is my real name and I blended it with Morticia from the Addams family. I had originally had Morticia as my avatar at this site.

I got on the island this morning and elleinad explained what was going on to some of us. Bummer.

It has been a bummer. I actually had to work some today! If the Island is still down tomorrow, there better be people posting here or I'll die of boredom.

I remember the days when I actually worked at work. The internet is my downfall; well, one of them. :redblush:
