A statement about board policy
I had at one time said "anything goes" at this board but that's because I hadn't anticipated having any problems. We all know each other from the Island/RTVP so I figured there was mutual respect to keep things in order. However, it seems that some people are using different personalities to air personal grievances or just to annoy other people and that can't continue. Use alternate personalities to have fun with board topics or talk about sensitive subjects so you can feel safe to talk without exposing too much of yourself but don't hide under a different personality to attack other posters. If I start getting complaints about a member from another member, I will reveal who you really are. I won't lie to cover your tail. Not anymore. Please keep that in mind before you start flaming others. We're all here to have fun, not to stir up drama. There's a difference between being naughty and being nasty.

If ppls are complaining at you, Mortricia, then they should just get the fluck out. I've seen way nastier crap slung at some ppls without not one peep being said by those that would dare complain because now something is directed at them. Hmmmm, where are these ppls when it's directed at others???

If someone has a problem with someone on the board, they need to either talk it out in pm's to each other or ignore each other on the board. What I don't like to see is one poster starting crap with another poster in every damn thread on the board because they have issues with them. Now if they want to discuss those issues publicly, they can do so in Voodoo Arena but I expect them to keep their complaints to that forum. And we don't need multiple threads in that forum about the same poster. It just seemed to me that every thread on the board was becoming a battleground for Bit, Fabu, and a few others and I was getting sick of it. Let's try to keep on topic and not turn every thread into an insult match, ok? Is that too much to ask? I'm sure we have much more pleasant and interesting matters to discuss.

But see, I don't see that. Bit is abrasive yes, but that's Bit, eh? Bit is an equal opportunity hater. She's been no harsher to any one person than she's been to anyone else. There's been no attack that can see.

I guess what I'm saying then is I don't want haters on the board. There's no "right" way to be hating on people. It's not what this board is all about.

Gah, Pika, I was using that in a joking manner. If ppls are taking everything said here so friggin seriously mebbe this board hasn't exactly come to be what I thought it was intended to be. I cannot believe that you ppls are taking this so damn seriously, it's bananas. You actually feel that what Bit has been saying is vicious??

I think the manner in which Bit has been posting has been vicious, not necessarily the words said. Making long posts harassing people about their spelling, telling people to look up crap in the dictionary, and calling other posters "Kmart shoppers" (aka white trash) was pretty mean-spirited to me. It made me uneasy reading those posts. I didn't see where it was meant to be funny. Since I seem to be humor-impaired, I'll step out of it and let Jay handle it however he sees fit. Nobody is in trouble here, no one has been deactivated or had their pm abilities taken away.

No no, I can agree to disagree as to whether Bit was 'gone to far', I personally think Bit was across the board the same with everyone and I did not construe any one post as a personal attack, mebbe I'm just not with it, could be tru, I have been sick for a week and a half. But, I'm not good with the whole public chastising and the way that this whole thing was handled. So Imma take my ball and go home. I'll be at The Island where people are less catnip cuckoo.

I was not singling out one person in particular so this is not "public chastising". I thought since I was talking about a board rule change I should make it public knowledge.
